Welcome back! We are looking forward to a great year at Red Bluff/Lhtako Elementary. This is the first year we will be the home of Quesnel District's French Immersion Program.  Our school'spopulation is 29- students from grades K-7. The combination of excellent students, staff and parents that make this a great place to learn!

Our yearly Student Success Plan addresses literacy and self regulation/social responsibility. We have been focusing on "bucket-filling" and kindness again this year, which is linked to our school beliefs. We are working hard every year to improve the number of students who are reading at Grade Level. We believe that success in reading translates to success in life.

At Red Bluff /Lhtako we want all of our students to have positive experiences as leaders and contributors to our school. Many students have school jobs, which helps our school run smoothly. We appreciate that they are always willing to lend a helping hand!

We have strong programs supporting our Aboriginal students. Many students participate in activities with Boys & Girls Clubs, we look for opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles for all our students, including our Aboriginal students.

The staff is very involved and offers a variety of teams and clubs from year to year. Volleyball, basketball, cross-country running, speed-stacking club, homework club, and reading clubs continue to run successfully through the volunteer work of teachers support staff, returning alumni and parents.

If you have any questions or concerns, remember communication with your child ' s teacher is your first course, but feel free to contact me at the school if you have further questions or concerns.
